There is no cost, but registration is required.  To reserve your seat, visit  <<https://www.juneteenthhouston.org/black-houston-bus-tour>>.  Seating is limited; register today!

Things to consider:

ATTIRE:  There will be a lot of walking over the course of the tour.  Please wear light breathable fabrics and comfortable, supportive shoes.

PROTECTION: Don’t forget your sunscreen, visors, umbrellas or whatever you need to shield yourself from the heat and prevent sunburn.

HYDRATION: There will be a limited supply of water on the bus, but we encourage participants to bring their own water or sports drinks with you.  It is also advisable to begin increasing water intake a few days in advance of the tour to prevent dehydration.

WHERE TO MEET:

Buses will depart from and return to the African American History Research Center (Gregory School), 1300 Victor St. Houston, 77019.

PARKING: There are limited spots available in AAHRC’s lot and on the surrounding streets (free).  There are also valet and garage options ($) on and near Gray St.  We encourage ride sharing and carpooling where possible.
